Amsterdam-based MX3D has become the world’s first Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM) facility to earn DNV’s highest-level AMC3 certification, the top criticality rating issued by the independent risk-management and assurance expert.据3D Printing Industry报道，荷兰阿姆斯特丹的MX3D宣布成为全球首个获得DNV AMC3等级认证的电弧增材制造（WAAM）工厂——AMC3是DNV授予的最高关键性等级认证。

Awarded in line with the DNV-ST-B203 metal additive manufacturing standard, AMC3 status confirms that MX3D’s facility, proprietary MetalXL software and WAAM process have been fully audited for the consistent production of highly critical, high-load structural components in maritime, defence and energy applications where part failure is not an option. WAAM melts metal wire with an electric arc and lays metal down layer by layer via a robotic arm, enabling parts far larger than most powder-bed processes can produce.该认证依据DNV-ST-B203金属增材制造标准颁发，经全面审核确认MX3D的设备、专有MetalXL软件与WAAM工艺可稳定生产船舶、国防与能源等“部件失效不可接受”场景下的高载荷关键结构件。WAAM利用电弧熔化金属丝材、由机械臂逐层堆积成形，可制造尺寸远超多数粉末床工艺的大型零件。
