Located in Wenzhou Bay New Area, Zhuopu Chuang Laser recently took on additive-manufacturing orders for liquid-cooling heat-dissipation components in NVIDIA’s next-generation high-power AI compute servers, with the first batches delivered in August. The company now runs 3 production lines with 15 metal 3D printers at full capacity, producing about 1,000 parts per month.
The micro-channel liquid-cooling structure contains bionic flow channels and thin-walled sealed cavities that are difficult to machine with conventional CNC and brazing processes. Metal 3D printing consolidates forming into a single step: complex flow channels are printed in one pass, reducing weld joints and lowering the risk of leakage under high-pressure operation at the source. On the material side, metal powder is custom-formulated for liquid-cooling scenarios, balancing thermal and structural performance. It is also one of the rare publicly reported cases of NVIDIA server liquid-cooling parts produced via 3D printing at scale, supporting the localization of liquid-cooling systems for AI data centers.
